The goal of the II National Conference of RoK Consultants and Researchers is to evaluate the consulting market based on the comprehensive SWOT-analysis, and exchange opinions about challenges associated with development of consulting services under the Business Roadmap 2020 Program and the “Export-2020” Export Promotion and Development Program.

The International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC) has launched a new project: today the Council holds consultations on methods for valuation of real estate property built for a specific type of business activity only, for instance, for recreation and visitor accommodation – in this case it implies hotels.

On June 14, 2012 the International Valuation Standards Council issued a draft guide “The Role of the Professional Valuer in the Audit Process” to assist professional valuers involved in providing an expert opinion (professional consultation) to the auditors or companies engaged in their reporting. The draft guide was introduced for discussion with a deadline until September 15, 2012.
Members of the “Council of Appraisers’ Association of Eurasia”, appraisers from Asia and Europe, members of the Republican Chamber of Appraisers, representatives of the Financial Institutions’ Association of Kazakhstan, banks, insurance and consulting companies, as well as state and other organizations attended the International Congress.
On May 29-30, 2012 the II Central Asian M&A Forum was held in Almaty. The Forum was aimed at uniting active M&A market players in the Central Asia countries for an exchange of their professional expertise and for further cooperation.
On May 29, 2012 a roundtable was held at the Institute of World Economy and Policy at the First Kazakhstan President Foundation – the Leader of the Nation – to discuss “Industry and Innovation Development in Kazakhstan: Status and Prospectives”.
On May 24-25 the 7th International PR Forum was held within the framework of PR Days in Kazakhstan. Among the issues discussed at the PR Forum there was a panel discussion titled “Generation P – 20 years” aimed at analyzing a consumer profile amidst the global changes, PR in the social media – myths and facts, integrated communications in retail and much more.
On March 20 Tatyana Gish, General Director, attended a roundtable devoted to “Market Data in Valuation” organized by RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) and held in the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Moscow.
